I was born and raised in Kaohsiung (not Taipei!!!), Taiwan, and flew to Seattle when it was time for college. Since high school I have always loved to plan, organize, and be actively engaged in activities and events. Leadership has always been something on the top of my list. Never did I know that I would have the opportunity to one day become the President of this student-run college organization called TSA. I am proud to call TSA a club that I lead on the UW campus! Chat with me to find out how this experience has shaped me and my college career, and everything about TSA that you want to know!

Hello! I was born in Taipei but was raised up in North America. I am passionate about being who I am and embracing my roots. My cultural background defines me the most and having the opportunity to bond with a group of fascinating individuals through TSA has helped me understand myself even more. In my leisure, I can be found in a bookstore, tea shop, or a candle store.
Hello everyone! My name is Jessica and I was born in Canada/raised in Washington. I joined TSA to make new friends, find my family at UW, and most importantly to spread Taiwanese culture. I love everything music-, book-, and food-related. Don't be shy! Come on by and chill with me :)
Biochemistry & CHID
Came for the food, stayed for the friends. Originally I joined TSA to get a better sense of Taiwanese culture, but it is so much more than that. The relationships and connections I've made, as well as the yummy food have been the most phenomenal part of my college experience. Help us spread Taiwanese culture! You won't regret it at all!
Early Childhood Family Studies & Psychology
I'm from Taipei, Taiwan, and I joined TSA my freshman year to find a family overseas and I’m so glad found one. TSA had offered me so many different opportunities and helped me created so many precious memories. Being able to host Night Market four years in a row is probably the craziest yet most rewarding decision of my college experience!
Informatics & International Studies
Hi there! I was born and raised in Sichuan, China and then moved to Eugene and Orlando later with my family. Although I’m not Taiwanese, I’m still very interested in Taiwanese culture and foooood LOL. Also I’m a really old fashion girl in music. One of the reasons I come to UW was that my favorite band - Nirvana was formed in Aberdeen, a city near Seattle.
