Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between being a member and an officer?
As a TSA member, you can enjoy discounts at various restaurants in U-district and many of our signature events. As a TSA officer, you will engage in planning and putting these events together for the public! Oh and you get the discounts as well : )
How often do TSA Officers meet? 
TSA general officers meet once every week for general updates and event planning, they are also required to attend most open events hosted by TSA.
What else should I expect from the recruitment process?
Selected applicants will be invited to attend group and individual interviews. These are meant to evaluate applicants' collaborative, social, and personal skills. 
Do I have to be Taiwanese to apply?
Nope! As long as you are an enrolled undergraduate student at the University of Washington Seattle Campus, you are welcome to apply for an officer position.
Are interviews in English or Mandarin?
Group interviews will be in English while applicants have the option to choose between English and Mandarin for their individual interviews.
